NEWLY REVISED ANI BIO: 
Born in Guatemala, raised on the island of Maui and currently living in Miami, 21-year-old singer, Ani, has been heavily influenced by her childhood idols Shakira, Selena, Demi Lovato and Gloria Estefan-by watching her perform, you can easily see how these major artist influences have shaped her music and her image.



The lavender-haired, high-heel stepping, Latin, pop/dance up-n-comer also has her own unique vocal stylings that have gained her notice and awards at local and national competitions, festivals and other events.  As a younger teen, she performed at many Local/Regional events, incl. County Fairs and Pride Festivals, where she's been able to hone her individual artistry by performing her own songs, as well as songs by some of her aforementioned childhood idols..



The teen vocalist, musician and performer is "living the dream" and excited for whatever comes next. "I always want to be clubbing and dancing - where my songs and performances will gain notice and garner attention regionally, nationally and eventually worldwide," she said, of her future hopes and goals. 

Music became her total passion, even though her mom wanted her to become a softball player, she joked. "Sports just wasn't my thing."  However, she does continue to stay fit through dance and exercise, which she enjoys, despite the fact she can't wear high heels while exercising.  "I started loving shoes when I watched my first episode of ‘Sex in the City' " she chuckled. 

Ani has been writing her own music for several years-initially, she dabbled in writing songs for the rock/alternative rock audience-- but as time passed, she began to slowly transition writing songs which were more focused in the club/dance genre, with an occasional injection of Latin flair.  

Her breakthrough 2018 single, "Dance the Night Away", was a Top40 charting Billboard Club hit and her 2019 followup track, "CONFESSION", reached #14 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart!

Even though the covid-19 pandemic has slowed her process just a bit, she's continued to work with various producers to record new tracks for her upcoming EP in 2021, which already include the production talents of C-ROD, Robert Eibach, among others to be announced soon.
