“I have always been artistically influenced and inspired by Tina Turner. Upon her recent passing, I revisited her discography and kept coming back to 'We Don't Need Another Hero'. I think I had it on repeat for 3 days straight. I couldn't exactly understand why I was so captured by it, so I pulled it apart and played it on guitar and then on keys. The lyrics fascinated me, they felt unpretentious like they weren't trying to prove anything more than a msg of community and an uprising of togetherness and synergy. Then I took it to my friend Harry Fox, a producer and we made it into a dance remix with further additions by Aaron Lee. We recorded the choir vocals live at my show in Melbourne which my fans sang on the night and we featured more fan vocals through a digital campaign. " – Beks
