Just two friends who grew up in Houston, we knew our version of soul music was a bit different. House music has always been at the root of our musical taste and the marriage of house and soul music was where we both could soar creatively.

Gospel and disco layered heavily on our influences growing up and we knew we needed all these elements to create our vision for the Diversity Project. Creating beats in our bedrooms then moving to the studio, keeping true to our own preferences in sound and tempo rather than what was popular, all contribute to our joy and success in producing club ready sounds that WE, ourselves, want to hear and groove to when out until the club closes and sunrise comes.
