Some stories just need to be told and music can be the vehicle that sends out the message. Trax Records has recently been in the eye of the hurricane surrounded by rumors and innuendo, with a woman at the center of it, Rachael Cain also known as Screamin Rachael. “I believe that whether you write and perform music, listen or dance your spirit can be uplifted, and hopefully you can find a bit of yourself by listening or most importantly catch on to the good spirit feeling”. The story of Rising is one of inspiration produced a group of friends working together to put out the indefatigable message that they and their music on Trax can’t be stopped. This EP features beats that are infectious and playful with mixes that take you through a plethora of dance beats which are decidedly house, ranging from deep, to big room and hip house. The lyrics are confident, fun and even a bit taunting but the bottom line is this track will make you dance your ass off!

DJ Thad X is a newcomer who is already gaining accolades around the world for his own music, and most recently his hard house /EDM mix of Irene Michaels new smash hit ‘Devil in Disguise’. He met Rachael Cain Trax label President in Nashville where they are currently forging a path for house music. Thad produced the project and is now Trax label manager. “Look out we’re coming, we won’t be stopped," says Thad; “It’s all about the new team! We’ve got the talent.”

Daniel Smith is also known as Late Nite Dub Addict, and produced the deep house dub masterpiece that has his name written all over it. He is currently one of Trax Records most acclaimed artists from its new school line up, and he DJ’s at many major festivals and gigs overseas. “The track breathes positivity, and shows Rachael’s voice still hits with the big hitters, her stunning vocals shinning through.” Says Daniel.

Rachael Cain, is known throughout the world as Screamin’ Rachael, Queen of House Music. She is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, producer, DJ, and label entrepreneur: an all-encompassing entertainment diva. And as President of venerable Chicago-based label TRAX Records, Ms. Cain presides over the true home of House Music – indeed, TRAX is viewed as the pioneering dance genre’s Motown Records. Cain’s role as a house music legend is without question; from her featured vocal on the first recorded house record “Fantasy” by Jesse Saunders, creating the first hip house sub-genre record “Fun With Bad Boys” with Afrika Bambaataa and Farley Jackmaster Funk, to her many collaborations with the likes of George Clinton, Marshall Jefferson, and Grandmaster Melle Mel. Rachael has enjoyed DJ residencies at the Ace Hotel, festivals and venues around the world. “I’m so proud of my new single RISING.
