Three years after the release of the second album, Manja and Rafael Kaletka set out on their latest long player called “X” on their journey through space and time. Thematically, they have found their home in the field of science fiction paired with scientific findings from research right from the start. All of this is packed with a refreshing electronic pop sound.

The listener experiences spherical synth sounds and chants of puzzles that the universe poses to us, as well as of effects that a scientific further development of our human species has and could still have on us.

With “Prelude X” the new music chapter is opened in a catchy way. The concise melody is later recorded and continued in the song “Lucid Paradise”. The story of a natural disaster and how mankind deals with it is told here.

In “The Gathering” the longing for the dearest creature is met and “Ghost Galaxies” shows us the ghostly side of the universe. This is followed by the epic “Blue Planet”, which would be the perfect candidate for the next ESC, both musically and in terms of content, because as the name suggests, it's about our beautiful home planet. “Northern Light” hypnotizes the listener with soft sounds and chants of security.

The monumental “The Universe In Mind” praises the importance of every single being in the universe. It goes a little easier literally and melodically with “Like A Feather”. In “Snowflakes” the artificial construct “time” is discussed.

The crowning glory is the song “Bygone Worlds”, which deals with the astonishing fact that the past can have an almost eternal effect - just like the light of a star that has long since set.

Drei Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung des zweiten Albums machen sich Manja und Rafael Kaletka mit ihrem neuesten Longplayer namens “X” auf zu neuen Ufern ihrer Reise durch Raum und Zeit. Thematisch haben sie von Beginn an ihr Zuhause im Bereich Science Fiction gepaart mit wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen aus der Forschung gefunden.

Das alles wird mit einem erfrischenden elektronischen Pop Sound verpackt. Der Hörer erlebt sphärische Synth-Klänge und Gesänge von Rätseln, die uns das Universum aufgibt, sowie von Auswirkungen, die eine wissenschaftliche Weiterentwicklung unserer Spezies Mensch auf uns hat und noch haben könnte.
Mit “Prelude X” wird das neue Musikkapitel eingängig eröffnet.

Die prägnante Melodie wird später im Song “Lucid Paradise” aufgenommen und fortgeführt. Erzählt wird hier die Geschichte einer Naturkatastrophe und wie die Menschheit damit umgeht.

In “The Gathering” wird der Sehnsucht nach dem liebsten Geschöpf begegnet und “Ghost Galaxies” zeigt uns die gespenstische Seite des Universums. Danach folgt das epische “Blue Planet”, was schon rein musikalisch aber auch inhaltlich der perfekte Kandidat für den nächsten ESC wäre, denn wie der Name schon sagt, geht es um unseren wunderschönen Heimatplaneten. “Northern Light” hypnotisiert den Hörer mit sanften Klängen und Gesängen von Geborgenheit. Mit dem monumentalen “The Universe In Mind” wird die Bedeutung jedes einzelnen Wesens im Universum gepriesen. Etwas leichter geht es dann wortwörtlich und melodisch mit “Like A Feather” weiter.

In “Snowflakes” wird das künstliche Konstrukt “Zeit” thematisiert. Den krönenden Abschluss bildet der Song “Bygone Worlds”, in welchem es um den erstaunlichen Fakt geht, dass Vergangenes fast ewig nachwirken kann - eben wie das Licht eines längst untergegangenen Sterns.
