GREAT PRODUCTION - FUTURE BASS HOUSE - CLASSIC BREAKS - WAVs + MP3s. Back in the day international DJs would hear a new US record in a store and get excited thinking about busting these groundbreaking productions on their club systems to their music fans. Genres of music wasn't important, it was the sound of the production that mattered. Think Herbie Hancock "Rockit" or Man Parrish ‎- Hip Hop, Be Bop (Don't Stop), or Was Not Was "Walk The Dinosaur", most definitely not disco but room filling tracks. So says the act, Agency, as they describe what serves to be their most captivating body of work. And this is just the first half of the album project. As always, vocals and melody and lyrics are first and foremost in their work but this time they chose to collaborate with some new producers to help expand their boundaries... something they seem to do in one way or another on every album. Every track is a winner here and the sonic palette with which they paint their vision is astonishing. Of note, the second half of the project will be released in July.
